  1. Gotta work the counts on Greinke. 2 outs on 4 pitches is absolutely terrible.
  2. If he throws at AJ there will be a brawl. Greinke & AJ don't like each other, & never have.
  3. Does the 2 out rbis come back to haunt us again this inning?
  4. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 09:23 PM) How did so many teams pass on him in the draft? A lot of great players get passed in the draft.
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 09:12 PM) How do you go from throwing a perfect game to this? That AAAA team in Seattle.
  6. All their runs have come with 2 outs.......what new?
  7. Geezus......Trout. Don't the Angels have a Salmon already in their Hall of Fame?
  8. The Dark Cell Rises Greinke !!!!! ATTA BOY AJ!!!
  9. Choo comes through with a 2 out RBI & ties it.
  10. Tigers up 1-0 through 2 on some horrible d by the Tribe.
  11. QUOTE (IowanSoxFan @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 06:04 PM) Dewayne Wise, the guy who made my favorite White Sox moment of all time. I haven't followed him much since he left. How was his time with the Jays and Yanks? The word "MEH" should sum up his time with the Jays/Yanks.
  12. Anibal Sanchez gets out of hot water in the top of the 1st. Cmon MASTERSON!!!
  13. The White Sox signed Tommy Manzella to a minor league contract, according to the transactions page at CBSSports.com. Manzella, who was the Astros' Opening Day shortstop in 2010, has spent the last two years in the minors. The 29-year-old played for affiliates of the Brewers and Diamondbacks this year, posting a .229/.308/.271 batting line in 295 plate appearances.
  14. Pena, 27, had one single in four plate appearances with New York this year and is a career .233/.266/.288 hitter in 338 big league plate appearances. The infielder hit .249/.302/.316 in Triple-A this year and has seen time at second, short, third, and right field during his career. Anybody know how his fielding is? Haven't seen much of him & after losing Lilli & Escobar we could use a utility guy.
  15. Scotty Pods was released by the DBacks. He was hitting. 387 in 70 plate appearances with the Red Sox. Will never forget what he did for us in '05. I'm sure he will latch on somewhere else, & I wouldn't mind seeing a contender pick him up.
  16. At least they will be running Masterson & Ubaldo at the Tigers.
  17. KC walk off the Tribe.
  18. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 2, 2012 -> 11:22 PM) Anyone today watching the Rangers/Angels game? lol, omg. So glad we have good pitching in comparison to these teams. Yea some are talking about it in this thread: http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...624&st=2670
