  1. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:31 AM) Bleh, I'll stick with the one thing I do actually like about Tboner: you instantly know whether or not someone knows anything about football by their stance on him. just because I like different style of qbs does not mean I don't know football. I'd test my knowledge against anyone here. Don't be so quick to be a jerk.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:27 AM) In OT? When he had to get 34 yards to win? fixed that for you. get your hater glasses off. You guys are like a tebow hater cult over here. Why so much hate? All he does is win. Until he starts losing, it is fact.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:25 AM) He was 3 of 16 going into the 4th quarter, and then the bears went prevent and he made his numbers look much better. There were some drops, but there were also some hideous overthrows. I did not see a prevent in OT or when the broncos got inside the 40 in the 4th.
  4. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:25 AM) It worked until the Bears coaching staff decided to stop playing the style of defense that held the almighty Teblow to a big 0 all day. I did not see a prevent in OT or when the broncos got inside the 40 in the 4th.
  5. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:23 AM) His passer rating was a 68, and that's with the Bears giving him tons of yards with the prevent defense. I did not see a prevent in OT or when the broncos got inside the 40 in the 4th.
  6. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:20 AM) Do you really expect Tom Brady to come out and disrespect a fellow QB that he is facing this week? You are saying that as if there's a fine line between insulting and praising. He could have said nothing at all.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:18 AM) It worked because Marion Barber went out of bounds like a doofus. It worked because Caleb Hanie is not an NFL quarterback. It worked because Von Miller is a beast and the Denver Broncos defense is playing outstanding football. All 3 of those factors had way more to do with the victory than Tim Tebow. But who cares about silly things like that. The broncos DID win because of those things. But they do not win without Tebow. That's all i'm saying. I know Von Miller is a beast, and their D is also beasting, but Tebow has proven to win a couple shootouts as well vs oak and min. Maybe not world beaters, but you can only play who's on your schedule. here's some pretty cool advanced 4th quarter stats for any Tebow fans on the board http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play...player=TeboTi00
  8. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:12 AM) I see the Broncos offense with Tebow kind of like the wildcat offense that was all the rage a few years back. It will do ok for a while and than teams will adjust to it. This is a throwing league. "Everyone says he struggles throwing the ball. What I saw last night, he had no problems throwing the ball,He threw the ball extremely well when I was watching." - Tom Brady
  9. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:09 AM) Except it wasn't working against the Bears, but who cares about silly things like that. It definitely started working when the Bears were getting winded in the cold mile high air. But who cares about silly things like that.
  10. Broncos don't win without Prater, but they don't win without Tebow, either. Definitely would take Tebow over half the qbs in the league. He is a pioneer at the position. This style was never given a chance for guys like Charlie Ward, Tommie Frazier or Eric Crouch. Good to see it working with Tebow.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 19, 2011 -> 12:17 PM) Seems Michigan doesn't need to throw the ball. Nebraska can not stop the run at all. Plus, Denard can't throw INTs when he is running. Seems Nebraska doesn't need to throw the ball. Michigan can not stop the run at all. Plus, Martinez can't throw INTs when he is running.
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 16, 2011 -> 03:51 PM) When I posted ">>", I meant he's better because he's a passing style QB that fits the NFL game. Tebow is not. So under that Logic Henry Burris >>> Tebow, Jonathan Quinn (possible relation to Brady) >>> Tebow heck, even Todd Helton >>> Tebow really? BTW, I like the part where you went from ">>>" to ">>"
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 15, 2011 -> 06:21 PM) Mark, you could not have pegged him better. He's a Notre Dame homer through and through. Thusly, feel free to make fun of him! My name is not mark? It's Espy! anyway... here's a pic i'll donate to soxtalk for whenever someone owns him(based on his avatar). Because as easy as it was on my first try, I'm sure it happens often. (it's all in fun of course)
  14. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 15, 2011 -> 05:14 PM) 82 attempts with a 50% completion percentage in 9 games is superior just because of QB rating? let's see. YPA is pretty important. His rush yards add a whole new dimension. completion % is pretty much a draw. 52% for Brady Quinn is nothing to brag about. You sound like a Notre Dame homer. I'm no Tebow fan, but if there's not a spot in the NFL for Tebow, there certainly is not one for Quinn.
  15. Btw.... seen you went back into the thread to take a peak at what I posted, then you left. Didn't mean to scare you off.
