I can't stand it when people write Sox's. That's just a double plural. It bugs the hell out of me. Especially from cubby fans.

Cleveland "fans" are known for throwing batteries as well. They had a story on-line about it the other day. They chased Rickey Henderson so shallow that they could only throw them so far that they landed at his feet...eventually, he got pulled from the game.

After all of that fighting to catch them for first they can't convert getting a runner in from third with less than 2 outs in either game and BAM...2 games back. Both games were right there for the taking if anyone just takes it upon themselves to make it happen. Just a terrible performance. That's what lost these games. I really can't think of any position player who had a good day today. Some good at bats here and there, but overall nobody was very good today. So much for all of that BS about the perfect game propelling the team on to great things. If they can somehow manage a split it will sting a little less.

Hey...Remember when Buehrle thew that perfect game...That was cool.

We all have to remember that Bacon is a rookie. He's gonna have games like today where he is just brutal.

Honestly, Count hasn't been that bad. The hitters have just s*** the bed with too many golden opportunities to put up some runs for him.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this already, but the behind the plate view through the screen/netting is really annoying. Not as annoying as the performance today, but it just another thing to hate about Detroit.

They need to move Murphy to the Browns Chicken Drive-through window so he can ask "What's (on) your Beef, sir? SIde of potatoes? ...that's about all he's good for.
