The whole Nomar to LA thing is based off of the Trib report. I think Reinsdorf is gonna get a deal done to lock up Nomar. But all of this still lies in the hands of Alex Rodriguez. Lets not forget that.

I know Valetnin isn't worth a ton to the Dodgers. I just don't understand why it seems like the Sox are doing the Dodgers a favor. I'll take my chances with Nomar and Williamson. Then see what other moves Kenny has in mind.

I just wanted to post my thoughts here since I sorta have a different spin. I do think Nomar will get sent to LA, if all of this does happen. However, one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that Nomar's agent is Arn Tellem who is the agent for Frank Thomas, and a few of the Bulls as well. So Reinsdorf has a real good relationship with him. So perhaps they do sign him. Things are sorta falling into place for the Sox, with this Vizquel to Seattle deal being killed. Very interesting days ahead.

Here's my take. Texas-Boston trade goes down, Nomar heads to LA. And the White Sox are left looking like fools once again. However I was reading that the O's are waiting for Vlad to drop his price, so maybe there is an option with that.
