  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:37 PM) DYE MOTHER f***ER
  6. f***, who cares about D, way to hit it hard JD
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:34 PM) Couldn't disagree with you more on your assessment of Dye's defense this year. It's been extremely, extremely disappointing. really? i can't think of any play that should have been easy that he's misplayed. He doesn't get the hard ones, but that's why he's not in centerfield.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:32 PM) Oh, I know. However, in general, he just doesn't seem to get to a lot of flyballs that are blooped to RF or down the line. he's slow, we all knew he was slow coming in. Given that, he's played some damn good D this season.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:30 PM) And Dye looks like a pillar in the outfield. there's absolutely nothing he could do there.
  10. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:20 PM) Controlling the offense is what needs to be done for the Jazz. It'd be foolish to compare him to Stockton but hopefully he can have a successful career in Utah. he's a great passer, but of course he was surrounding by guys who knew how to get open. i'll be following him during his career, he was great for us.
  11. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:16 PM) It's the audio... There's absolutely no ballpark noise. i said that earlier, it seems like there's absolutely nothing being played on the speakers over there, let alone any crowd noise
  12. juan showing some signs of life.
  13. but wharris gave you the basic lowdown. his shot isn't the best, but he knows how to control an offense.
  14. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 07:09 PM) So you're basically saying he'll fit Sloan's system. What's his personality like? pretty quiet actually.
  15. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) 2 full games, 18 straight innings, without a run. OH MY GOD. SEASON OVER.
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) That opera singing vevder is annoying as hell. I don't know why they think that's a good idea. IIRC, he was forced to stop last year. I agree, annoying as hell
  17. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 06:15 PM) I'll make sure to change that tomorrow night. sing opera.
  18. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 06:04 PM) Weatherford Mo Virgil PT pierre's gonna have a monster year.
  19. wow, that place is dead. absolutely 0 sound from anyone.
  20. i don't know 1 fan that doesn't like MB. that's saying something.
  21. QUOTE(soxhawks @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 03:43 PM) ya i was them in 2004 had a major powerhouse conference battle between north texas in the sun belt. it was ridiculous because both were six stars and battling for the national championship every year north texas always becomes good, kinda sucks for the realism part at least.
  22. Illinois vs. Wake Forest. I waited 5 hours outside the stadium in the krush line and still didn't get floor seats. IlliniKrush was there at 8 AM that day. Right before tipoff, I've never heard any place get louder in my life.
  23. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 04:48 PM) Thanks, thats what I thought... It was so sure in my mind I thought I was going crazy... Ted Theodore Logan and Bill S. Preston, Esq. Best names ever.
  24. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 12:25 PM) I will be in attendance, look forward to cheering the Sox on the road for the first time (besides wrigley) make sure to wander around detroit aimlessly, i've heard it can be quite beautiful
