  12. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 09:43 PM) Valpo lost a hearbreaker by one tonight. UMKC hit a three with 6 seconds left and Valpo came down, missed a layup and tipped it in, but the tip didn't count because it was a split second after the buzzer. Now we should be on a mission to take the Mid-Con tourney and get a bid to the dance. UMKC Kangaroos :
  13. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) I haven't read every post in this thread so this may have come up...but there's more to the hitter's eye than just the "split second" color you see when he is about to let go of the pitch. The ball is that color through the entire motion. If you haven't noticed this, check it out. Try to track the ball from the start of the pitcher's motion. Almost every time i can see the color behind the pitcher's back before he brings it up to deliver the pitch. This will give you a bit more time to prepare for what's coming. Give it a whirl, it works. ** Rex beats me to the punch while i was posting. that's actually the way they designed it. So that the better pitchers, the ones that hide their motions better, still have the advantage. Awesome idea by them
  14. Latest Bracketology has duke in illinois' bracket I'm certainly hoping for a matchup like that.
  15. I think i found the secret to hitting. You need to be waiting on a certain pitch, take anything else. THe hitter's eye will help. This also helps you actually get some counts in your favor.

  19. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 01:24 AM) I'm sure this question has already been answered, but I seem to have missed it. How do I get updated rosters integrated into my Owner mode, and create Iguchi into it? Can Iguchi be added to the downloaded updated rosters? Step x step, please.......... once you start owner mode, your stuck w/ the rosters you started with. If you wanted to start a new one, this is what you have to do. First LOAD the rosters from the main menu then when your starting up owner mode, select NO where it says 'use default rosters.'
  20. w/ the sliders i had 2 walks w/ a-row in my last game.
