Does anyone else remember when he was playing for us durring interleague play against that Cubs, and Baylor had like the first two or three batters come to the plate and bunt back toward to mound for hits. Knocked him out of the ballgame cuz he hurt his back. What an Ass. I 'm surprised that more teams don't take it to him. This is the smae guy blasting Frank for not "sucking it up". :fyou Wells

Did anyone else catch the factoid the FOX crew threw out in like the 9th inning that the last time Prior and Wood lost back to back games was last summer to the WHITE SOX!!!! I'm sure that was salt in the wound for all of the Cub fans watching the game.

Granted its old, but I still thought it was funny and I wanted to share with others who might also appreciate it.

Just a thought here but do any of these new candidates have any experience with managing the pitching staff?? IMHO I thought that was one of Jerrys biggest weaknesses. He was terrible! The lack of support for Garland, the Cotts in NY decision, and the failure to find a decent solution for the 5th starter problem that we had ALL YEAR! : I would feel a hell of a lot better if we had a man with experience dealing with a Major league rotation. Like Gaston

Nonetheless our team was competitive and played well at times, but not enough to beat their division nemesis the twins when it mattered the most.

Didn't frank say in recent quotes to the media that he is not going to be hitting for average anymore? He says that he wants to be more of a power hitter and therefor not be so concerned with bloop shots and hitting the ball the other way. I think that his recent drop in numbers is due to this new HR hungry approach IMHO.

Can he look any more rested than he does already???
