    Honestly, even better. With those 5 healthy, with a competent offense, at the very least the team will be competing and that's what we as fans can ask for.

    Interesting quote from Rick Hahn in a brief meeting with the beat writers a few minutes ago. And it goes:

    Sounds like Rick Hahn is ready to sell off the entire team....(sarcasm)

     

     

    But Hahn is right, build around the pitching. Sale, Santiago, Quintana and Danks in his last 4 starts all have done excellent this year. They just haven't gotten any run support. They haven't even hit arbitration yet and are on and will be on team friendly contracts. The Sox trade a few pieces this year like Peavy, Rios, Alexei, Thornton, Crain, Lindstrom and get some valuable prospects back and the team can be relevant again in a couple years.

     

    Then with that money, go after some free agent bats in the upcoming off seasons.

    Honestly, if that's all we can get for Rios AND Alexei then count me out. You know once it gets closer to the trade deadline, teams will get desperate. Only reason I say this is because if this whole Biogenesis operation is true and players to get suspended. The Rangers are a team that takes a hit and would be very desperate for a right fielder, and Rios is the best available. Wait for that and make a team overpay.

     

    As for trading Sale, for me it has to be an absolutely ridiculous deal with my 2 teams I would trade him to are the Cardinals and DBacks.

     

    Sale & Alexei to Cardinals for Adams, Wacha, Wong, Martiniez, Taverez, Tilson and Piscotty

     

    Sale & Rios to the DBacks for Skaggs, Bradley, Eaton, Davidson, Owings, Holmberg, Lamb and Chafin.

     

    It would take a lot, but teams would not deplete their systems for this.

    I'm only 20. My dad's side of the family are all White Sox fans. My grandpa who now lives in Arizona would tell me all these stories of the teams he grew up with. He would also take me to spring training games in Arizona when they would play the Cubs.

     

    When I was little and the Sox game came on, I would go grab a big spoon out of the kitchen and pretend to use that as a bat and mimmick the White Sox hitters lol. So ever since I really understood baseball, I have been a White Sox fan all my life and I love it. Going on 21 years of being a fan.
