Kid is a rookie, he will learn when it is the right time to be aggressive in the majors. I would say the dropped ball was a more heads up play by him to try and get a double play, there was no harm in trying it. The 2B ump didn't say anything and he almost got away with it. The interference was iffy IMO, yeah he was in the wrong spot but the runner could have easily avoided him, he has also been trying to learn LF in the minors and majors so I can see how there are mental lapses with playing 2B especially as a rookie. The out at 3rd was dumb, I can see why he tried though, they were shifted quite a bit, rookie at 3B with has backed turned and a walk in the 1st inning. He will learn, he will still make outs but will also gain bases and runs with the aggressive nature. I don't want him to be different though

Can we maybe get rid of these shitty guys and try someone who is dominating in AAA

That was our best chance. Tough game after the walk off yesterday and on the west coast the next day

Schedule makers did them no justice. Already the 3rd west coast trip in the first two months, flying to Seattle and playing the day after the Cubs series is tough

I didn't see the slow mo but it is still a heads up play to try and make, it didn't hurt anything for him to do it

Sam didn't catch the ball then drop it, he made a heads up play or dropped it. That home ump wanted to put himself in the middle

Rodriguez acting like he just hit a huge home run. Dude, you hit a solo home run in the 1st inning off a rookie, calm down

He is a guy who will always push the envelope so he will get thrown out more often than most but he will also create chances a lot of guys wouldn't

5/17 Games
Has Gonzalez had any run in the OF? Would think a SS could transition to the OF some. I don't think he comes up unless we need him. I am not sure who he replaces and not sit on the bench. You could DH him but Benintendi is finding his stride and I think they like his vet presence in the lineup
