QUOTE (almagest @ Jun 25, 2013 -> 09:54 PM) Pop up on the infield, was Gillaspie's ball all the way. Beckham charged in out of nowhere and ran into Gillaspie, and the ball dropped. Lol, this hurts my fantasy team but what the f***

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jun 25, 2013 -> 09:13 PM) I stand by my prediction that Michael Earley will make it to the majors before the trio of Thompson, Walker and Mitchell, although Thompson's stock is trending up in past weeks. stats?

Engagement Rings
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 24, 2013 -> 09:54 AM) But that's exactly it. It was a nice trial run for you. What's the rush to get married? You had a lot easier out at that point before that time came at 28. Marrying at 20 is silly...someone can think they are mature, but as we all know, you really aren't, there's so much more to learn and a lot of room to grow. I'm sure you can attest to that. I have to imagine the divorce rate for those married at age 20 is a lot higher than it is for those married at 28. Maybe I'm wrong. I am 20 years old right now and I am living with my girlfriend that I have been with for a little over 2 years and we have a dog that we adopted. No doubt I want to marry her but we both agree that it needs to wait until after we both graduate college. It isn't for everyone that is for sure.

I know this doesn't really belong here but if we decide to trade with the Braves I think we should try to get Trenton Moses from them. He went to the same college I am currently at and he can straight out hit. He did play third but he got moved to 1st this year. He is a little older (24). He just got promted to High A after being in Low A for about 2 months.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 04:23 PM) That would of meant RV would have to think and make a right decision for once! Exactly. How many pitches did Crain throw yesterday? Close to 30?

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 04:22 PM) Maybe all those scoreless appearances has something to do with it and who else is there ? Would of kept Thornton in there til he let someone on base.

6/23- Sox @ KC
All he has faced has been lefties. Still don't understand why Robin brought him in
-
6/23- Sox @ KC
Lefties coming up and we bring in Crain who pitched 20+ pitches yesterday and who is overly used? I hate Robin and his stupid decision making

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 03:25 PM) The leadoff hitter typically is expected to be capable of stealing 30 bases, yeah. Unless he's on the Oakland A's. I didn't ask that. I asked if De Aza was expected to steal bags? He has attempted to steal 11 times I think, that is horrible for a lead off hitter. So I don't expect him to steam

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 03:20 PM) But Alexei's not going to steal bags at will. He does it sneakily, but he's not a pure basestealer. He'd probably have a lower percentage than DeAza if he was EXPECTED to steal bases from that spot in the line-up. Down goes Konerko. 3 K's in the inning. More bad baserunning. Is De Aza expected to steal bags? Is anybody on this team expected to steal bags? I don't think so.
