  1. Danks just doesn't have good command
  2. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 29, 2013 -> 01:58 PM) Am I the only one who wouldn't have bunted there? Probably
  3. De Aza is not the guy we wanted at the plate right there.
  4. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ May 29, 2013 -> 01:53 PM) Ramirez ran on an 0-0 fastball from Feldman too. Navarro's arm is below average and Feldman doesn't seem to do too many things right fundamentally. Flowers is going to f*** this up. Ramirez also had 8 SB's on the year. And Conor with just 1 I think they said. Kepp has been shaking this year. Robin put on the hit in and run that at bat and with a 3-2 count and a guy at the plate that doesn't strike out often, it was a given to have Conor going on the pitch to make sure the DP didn't happen. But yes I am sure they feel like they can steal on the Feldman/Navarro combo almost all day but not in that situation.
  5. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ May 29, 2013 -> 01:53 PM) Flowers K? Swinging at a breaking ball on the first pitch? I will go with yes
  6. Lol at the Cubs for having Castro covering
  7. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ May 29, 2013 -> 01:49 PM) Sox must really like the battery of Feldman and Navarro. I think they just don't want a DP
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 29, 2013 -> 01:46 PM) You're going to bench Viciedo or Dunn, then? If we bring up Danks and Phegley to play everyday, they're punting on the season. That won't be happening. Gillaspie has been our best hitter, after Rios. IF he could just manage 12-15 homers per season, that would be quite valuable. Gillaspie needs more RBI chances. He needs to be batting anywhere from 3-5. Dunn needs to bat where Conor is
  9. Danks trying to be too perfect now
  10. We are starting off just great today
  11. If the Sox are so worried about Phegley handling the pitchers just have the guy DH over bum Dunn. And catch sometimes to get him accumulated with the pitchers. I am sure there is a way we can have him play 4 or 5 games a week with catching once or twice.
  12. Micah Johnson hit another home run today and has 4 RBI's. Batting .322 now
  13. I think everyone just wants to see a fresh face instead of what we have been seeing. Something different when things aren't working is what people want. It could be a good thing or maybe not. Maybe it will wake Flowers up and put some fire behind him. I wish they would just tell Flowers, "Hey we are giving you two more weeks, if you can't prove yourself, we are going to go a different route"
  14. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 27, 2013 -> 08:40 PM) Micah Johnson hit his 3rd HR. No SB tonight. Worthless!
  15. I am starting to really think Conor is our 3B of the future. I wish we could get him in more RBI situations though. Switch him and Dunn in the line up!!
