  1. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 03:15 PM) Nice AB by Conor right there. Come on Tank. I will give Robin credit though for finally shaking things up. With Konerko being out he kind of had to. Rios desperately needed a break
  2. I wish we would of switched Danks and De Aza in the line up. De Aza doesn't seem to realize he is a lead off hitter
  3. Lefties hit Parker really well and Gimenez is on the bench?
  4. QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 02:52 PM) Wow that looks good
  5. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 02:58 PM) The breaking pitches he struck out on in his second AB were really out of the zone. Troubling that he did not recognize them. So we drafted a guy that can't hit breaking balls AND can't recognize a bad pitch?? Who scouted this guy?
  6. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 02:28 PM) Another K for Hawkins. Saw the AB, looked lost on back-to-back breaking pitches well out of the zone. So we drafted a guy that can't hit breaking balls? Great
  7. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 12:42 PM) Hahn talked about holding some players accountable for lack of effort on the radio today -- related? I feel like De Aza is the one that would be on the bench. But I think it was obvious Rios needed a break.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 11:49 AM) Alejandro De Aza LF, Alexei Ramirez SS, Conor Gillaspie 3B, Dayan Viciedo DH, Adam Dunn 1B, Casper Wells RF, Jordan Danks CF, Tyler Flowers C, Tyler Greene 2B What a line up lol Only good thing is Gillaspie batting 3rd and Dunn down to the 5th spot
  9. QUOTE (MuckFinnesota @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 07:31 PM) Make sure that if you are wanting to get the tickets in the first row, the actual first row is AA and not row 1. I learned that the hard way. Yeah I found that out. There is no AA row tickets on Stub Hub with the sections I am looking for which sucks.
  10. Wow. Worst way to lose
  11. Who decided to walk Crisp when Santiago is known to be wild?
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 06:16 PM) I don't want to jinx him, but it's ridiculous how Hector Santiago is being used. Yes it is. Now he brings in Santiago. Why not just start him for the inning? He just wasted a guy out of the bullpen in an extra inning game
  13. Nate Jones. Great.
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 06:13 PM) You've never noticed the difference in Alex Rios 2009/11 and the last two years? It's easy to see. And when Ventura does send the runner....that ends up happening. Royals loaded the bases with no outs against Texas, now 2 consecutive K's by Moustakas and Cain, lol. I didn't say that. I don't understand what you are talking about lol. I just pointed out that Gimenez shows more emotion then Flowers. That is it.
  15. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 06:08 PM) Simple, Flowers was given the position and didn't even come into the season ready physically. It was almost like the White Sox "owed" him the starting catcher's job after all that time. Gimenez seems to appreciate his opportunities more, just going from body language. That is kind of what I was pointing out? lol
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 06:05 PM) Nothing like a 30 year old rookie who debuted at the MLB level in 2006. I am not sure what that has to do with Gimenez acting like he cares more then Flowers does
  17. Gimenez gives so much more emotion then Flowers
  18. Feels like yesterday we were just .500 and now we are 4 games back.
  19. At least Flowers is on the bench.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 1, 2013 -> 09:20 AM) I've sat in the second row before, I thought it was great. For the other majors sports, the front row ruins you sightline of the whole field, but I don't see that being an issue with baseball. You should be able to see everything fine and being so close to the action is sweet. Awesome. Thanks. I was worried about the whole sightline thing. I think I will try it out.
  21. Hey guys I am going up to Chicago in a week or so and going to a game. I was wondering if any of you guys sat in row 1 of sections 144-150?? Never sat in row 1 of the lower sections and wondering if any of you guys have and if has a good view or if it is better to sit a little bit higher? A Any insight would be great. Thanks guys
  22. lol at this team
