At this point, I think Gordon and the Sox were just using each other as leverage. Gordon using us for a higher KC offer, we using him for Cespedes to want to accept our offer.

Saw this update from my MLB app and immediately thought it was Cespedes to the Sox. If we don't sign him now, I'll always resent Scott Kazmir.

One thing's for sure, the Twitterverse is a lot more quiet than it was yesterday on the Cespedes front.
