QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 25, 2015 -> 03:46 PM) Refs killing the Bulls I was furious watching the 4th quarter yesterday. Rose and Butler were pissed at the ref. Before the last 3 minutes, EVERY call went OKC's way.

2015-2016 NBA Thread
QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Dec 25, 2015 -> 01:42 AM) The Bulls have hit just 53.1 percent of their shots within the restricted area, on pace to be the lowest rate since the NBA began tracking precise shot location data in 2000, per NBA.com. (Derrick) Rose and (Joakim) Noah have been among the worst rim finishers in the league. Portis and McDermott seem to miss lots of wide open layups as well.

2015-2016 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 23, 2015 -> 01:53 PM) To those who have the NBA system down, could the Bulls do some kinda deal with Noah and taj and something for boogie, plus flip Gasol to Memphis or some place for something small? I doubt the Kings would accept that, but I could see us trading Pau for a pick or something.

QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 23, 2015 -> 01:14 PM) as things stand now, royals told chances are nil to keep gordon. other OFs (and SP) theyre weighing https://t.co/CtYsVNCwEy https://twitter.com/JonHeymanCBS/status/679741429804068864 I find that hard to believe.

White Sox the best at keeping off of the DL
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Dec 22, 2015 -> 09:12 PM) Yeah for as "lucky" as the Sox got in 2015 when it came to being healthy, we seem to be that "lucky" almost every year. That's not a coincidence. 2014 was rough with Sale, Abreu, and Eaton all going down though. Sometimes it's not how many people get hurt/how long they're hurt, but who gets hurt.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 22, 2015 -> 08:46 PM) It's amazing that in a thread about a Royals free agent where you are encouraged to talk about that specific free agent, you manage to not talk about that free agent and instead talk about other players the Royals are targeting. And John Smoltz Why am I not surprised?

I would say Butler > Leonard, but Leonard has improved offensively this year so now I think Leonard is better. Defensively, they're both elite.

QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Dec 22, 2015 -> 03:24 PM) He doesn't have limited power. He has 7 less HRs per 162 than Upton, while playing in a pitchers park that is hard to hit homers in his whole career versus Upton playing in Arizona's bandbox for most of his career. Regarding speed skillset - you could say that about any of the big three. Responding to just these parts of your quote- Upton and Cespedes don't rely on speed as much as Gordon does (defensively). Gordon has 67 home runs both at Kaufmann and away from Kaufmann in his career. That's with 10 more games on the road for his career.

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 22, 2015 -> 03:24 PM) I just have a feeling that Cespedes would frustrate us more often than not. Yup. Lots of strikeouts, few walks

Yeah, that didn't really seem like a source-based tweet. Just speculation

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Dec 22, 2015 -> 02:53 PM) He has power and also plays in Kauffman. 67 career home runs at Kaufmann, 67 career home runs away from Kaufmann (in 10 more games).

Defense/advanced stats aside, Melky still put up .273/12/77. It's not like he has zero value.
