  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2015 -> 01:07 PM) Is Chris Sale angry? Does Ozzie drink?
  3. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 7, 2015 -> 12:57 PM) Are we wearing 83's again? Does a bear s*** in the woods?
  4. Moving Avi ahead of LaRoche
  5. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 7, 2015 -> 11:13 AM) Agreed. The Sox are 8-3 at home this year but 0-3 when I am in attendance. I am going to the game today. Nooooooo!!!
  6. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 6, 2015 -> 11:50 PM) Wow, what a game! Great to see Micah energize the bottom of the lineup and actually team up with Eaton to do some damage like the Sox envisioned. For one night at least that plan worked to perfection. WTF is up with Chris Sale? He's turning into a headcase somewhat, isn't he? He's always had a bit of a short fuse on the mound but this year he's not channeling his anger well. Whatever they did with him on rehab doesn't seem like it worked his mechanics and stamina are horse s***. In retrospect, seems they rushed it some. Oh well great win a sweep would wipe away a lot the misery of last week and put them in a good position to get right back in this thing if they can pull up even on .500 before May is out. The starting pitching has to be f***ing better though and Simon tried his best to give the Sox the game as did Greene last night. But hey, you face the guy on the schedule not the Sox' fault they got the back end of what is looking like a suddenly shaky Detroit rotation. Detroit has got some real problems of their own imo. We should of scored at least 6 early on. But we got em in the end.
  7. QUOTE (kev211 @ May 6, 2015 -> 11:10 PM) He'd be using a much different approach at the plate with a guy at 3rd and 1 out. So you can't say that. Ya I know. What ifs were being thrown out there so I threw one
  8. QUOTE (reiks12 @ May 6, 2015 -> 11:09 PM) who knows what would have happened as the pitch and hitting strategy would have been completely different I know i was saying if. It would of been a lot different
  9. Games like these will keep us going. If we lost this game and the Cleveland game you really could write us off potentially.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 6, 2015 -> 11:06 PM) It was McCann, the catcher. And the .350ish hitting Iglesias would have come up with runners on 1st and 3rd, only one out...probably would have scored the first run of the season (off Robertson) unless they got him to hit into a double play ball to the middle of the diamond. Big break finally went our way again. The ball he hit would've been a double play if McCann didn't get throw out.
  11. Q going tomorrow. Here's to a sweep!
  12. No errors tonight! Yay for good defense
  13. QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2015 -> 10:58 PM) They're also in the NL. Yes they are. But you didn't say American League. So I just looked it up.
  14. QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2015 -> 10:55 PM) And avoided the worst record in the league. 4 teams worse now. Brewers have that at 9-19
  15. Sweep! What a comeback. Call us the Chicago Possums. Because we play possum til the end lol
  16. Whew! Thanks for hitting the cut off man
  17. Gota have a man on base sooner or later
  18. Ok Robertson time. Go get em buddy!
  19. Call me a gluten for punishment but I'm glad I turned the game on thanks to my on demand not working.
  20. That wasn't cheap. f*** ya!
