I do trust Hector Gomez. He has been calling Machado to the White Sox consistently for awhile now and has legitimate sources (likely Machado's father).

Said it once, I'll say it again. Every Tom, Dick and Harry with a twitter handle out there thinks he/she can be an "insider" by throwing out garbage and seeing what sticks. So much misinformation going on. Sox aren't letting the Padres outbid them for their guy, and if they do, shame on them.

Thread needs to get to 1000 pages in order for Machado to sign on the dotted line. No way the Sox allow the Padres to outbid them for Machado.

The National Media guys have had virtually nothing to report on Machado/Harper, which is pretty telling. If anything were close to finalizing I'm sure we'd hear about it.

Where is this talk of Harper AND Machado coming from? Hahn already shot down the idea of signing both as being not realistic financially to have two massive contracts on the books.

We can only remain hopefully Machado to the Sox gets done. I'm not sure the fanbase can handle him signing anywhere else at this point.

Hector may very well be Sox fans favorite reporter if this deal comes together. He has continued to suggest Machado is going to the Sox.

Some form of a swellopt 8 year/250 deal should be very competitive to getting Machado signed if true

Realmuto after being informed they were out on Machado. The #Dodgers deal for Realmuto fell through on Monday, as I reported at the time. Nasty comments= BLOCKED. Take the above with a huge grain of salt, but it does fit the timeline.
