BA Sighting
finished 0-3 with two whiffs as Charlotte lost 4-0 in 7 inning first game of DH. Charlotte pounded out two hits.

BA Sighting
oops. make it 0 for 3 with two whiffs. at least Cleveland and Minny are losing.

BA Sighting
after an off day, a game he missed and a rainout, BA finally cracked the Charlotte lineup tonight. in the first game of a doubleheader at Richmond, he is batting sixth in the lineup. First time up he whiffed. second time up he grounded out. Through six innings Charlotte has not scored. shocker.

Brian Anderson
Saw the Tribune notes BA did not play but said he would play today. surprised Ozzie didn't make a comment about it.

White Sox vs. Mariners, 5/1/07 (L)
We've played KC and Texas, two of the worst teams in the league. Who are the bad teams that Hawk thinks we've missed? Baltimore and Tampa? We've got 57 games against Minny, Detroit and Cleveland. Our schedule is going to be tough all year. Deal with it, Hawk.

Cleveland still has bullpen issues. Minnesota is the team to beat as long as Ortiz keeps pitching well for them.

jamie Burke. Take that Torii Hunter.

Brian Anderson
Anderson must be pouting about his demotion. Charlotte did not play yesterday. Did play tonight -- tuesday night -- in Richmond. BA not in the lineup. Andy Gonzalez played CF. I believe you get 72 hours to report. If I'm Anderson, I report and get my at bats in 72 minutes. Sure looks like another way for him to piss Sox brass off. Get him outta here.

for the record, just checked the Charlotte box score. BA must be surfing down south. not in the lineup. What's the rush, dude? makes me pull for terrero

Anderson sent down to AAA
Sean Tracey, for the record, has an 8.31 ERA in AAA for Baltimore. no great loss. Not even a minor loss.

Anderson sent down to AAA
The larger issue is the way they have mishandled Anderson for more than a year. he should have been sent down LAST YEAR when he was a cancer bat for three months. Couldn't do it because Mack can't play CF and we didn't have another option. he stabilized and played better the second half. Then, after he left winter ball early, the Sox really soured on him. Fine. But what is the point of trying to destroy the kid's confidence with some of the stuff that's gone on this year. I'm not a BA fan. But he should have started the year in Charlotte to get regular ABs. If he would have had success, bring him back or trade him when his value is on the uptick. Now everybody in baseball knows the Sox can't stand him and he won't bring anything in a trade. Bad, bad and petty management from where I sit.

Anderson sent down to AAA
Cintron is good in a limited role. He probably could have used a minor league rehab assignment to start the season because of the injury. The trip to Puerto Rico didn't help him.

Anderson sent down to AAA
There was a time when we drafted Black Jack, Frank, Robin Ventura, Alex Fernandez back to back to back to back. We had much higher picks back then, but it's still hard to be nearly 0-10 the way we have.

Anderson sent down to AAA
our system hasn't produced a hitter in the outfield since .... el caballo and Maggs. the scouting staff folks are the people who should be on the hot seat. McCullough, Broadway, Fields, BA, Borchard, Stumm, Sweeney, Honel, Royce Ring, Kip Wells, Jason Dellaero. Don't see much on that list to get excited about.

White Sox vs. Angels, 4/29/07 (L)
what's been so tough about our schedule. no games with BoSox. no games with Yankees or blue Jays. no trips to Minny. May is just as tough to me.

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 29, 2007 -> 08:18 PM) In the unlikely event that we tie this game, it has the potential to go 30 innings. or longer. not that i'm expecting a tie. two strikes go ahead and steal
