Sale looks like 2015 model right now. Two strike outs & hitting 96-97 consistently.

All in all, a double header split with the way this team is playing is not a bad thing. Sale & Quintana the next two days. Just have to hope KC loses one or it'll be a 2 game lead going into the weekend.

Man, Ventura has really butchered these two games today. Scary to think about him getting an extension after this season if they make the playoffs.

Sure hope the extra 2/3 of an inning, extra run & runner on 1st was worth it for Robin.

Good thing they took game one because Ventura doesn't seem to have much interest in truly trying to win game 2.

No clue why Robin felt any reason to leave Johnson in for another inning but the ship is sunk now.

Honestly, Johnson has looked surprisingly solid so far. Anderson, too. Figured this would have been the 7-6 game.

Outside of the small blow up, Johnson has pitched well through 3. Have a hard time believing 1 run is going to win this.
