July 2, 2019 The Thread
Maybe this has been mentioned already, but with guys committing to teams as early as 13, 14 it is possible we don’t see the real bulk of the work put in by the international staff during the Robert penalty until next July. Or maybe I’m just looking for the positive because I like Paddy. Met him a couple times in my scouting days, and he was a really likeable guy. Very humble, aside from wearing his World Series ring every day haha

2nd Tier Palehose
Any list with Herbert Perry is 100%. And Kelly Wundch.

Yonder DFA'd
Who’s going to ground out to second?

ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
let him come in tomorrow as a pinch runner, but don’t let him run.

Players who do everything fairly well have long big league careers.

6/23- Sox at Rangers, 2:05, WGN
He was ok. A little wild in the strike zone. He missed his spots a lot, but he’s hard to square up so it didn’t really matter. Reminds me a little of Matt clement.

Post All Star Break Promotions
I’ve mentioned it a couple times, but he looked really good this spring. Potential 7th inning type.

GT Chicago vs Chicago, 6/19/19, 7:05 CT
I hope however much money Blaser bet on the Cubs tonight is enough that he can retire and never umpire again.

Hawk on Wrigley
I came to post exactly this. It was a dump when it was new and it still is. Of all the notable ballparks of that era, it was the worst one.

GT Chicago v Chicago, 6/18/19, 7:05 CT
You gotta get that “F” key fixed.

Collins getting called up
Haven’t read what others have posted here, but my ideal preference would be to kick Yonder/Castillo to the curb and have Collins rotate between 1b/dh/backup catcher. I’m guessing he will probably struggle. I’m not really that high on him, personally. But might as well see what we have with him rather than waste at bats on washed up duds.

White Sox @ Royals 1:15pm CST. Giolito vs Keller
Giolito basically walked some guy off the street who runs really fast.

6/7 White Sox @ Royals (7:15 PM)
A four pitch leadoff walk to Billy Hamilton should be an automatic fine in kangaroo court.

6/6 Games
Yeah, on the one hand I’m optimistic. On the other hand, Paulo Orlando and Ryan Goins are OPSing around .900 too. Not sure what to believe.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
one thing worth remembering about Anthopolous is he has historically not shied away from trading pitching prospects to fill a team need. He isn’t shy trading prospects in general, but particularly true with pitchers

***Day 1 MLB Draft Thread***
I’d be psyched with Hampton

***Day 1 MLB Draft Thread***
This is questionable. Juan Pierre had 20 power, didn’t have an 80 hit tool, and managed to make a nice career. There’s other variables that come into play.

Sox & Tribe, 6/2/19, Gio & Plesac
Eloy had two pitches to murder in that AB.

6/2 Games
I think yesterday was the initial target for Burger’s return, so hopefully we see him soon. I totally forgot about Puckett until just seeing him mentioned.

Totally. He’s a good prospect, not a great one or anything.
