  1. Good for the soul to finally win one in Anaheim. Doesn't really matter if you root for them to win a "useless game" or suck for a higher draft pick, since we can't influence the outcome of a game anyway. When the management decides to spend an incredible amount of money on a washed-up rag like LaRoche, this train ain't going anywhere this or the next season. But how is it possible that we haven't a single guy in the farm-system who occasionally can play 1st base and swing a bat better than LaRoche for a lot less money?
  2. Chris is immense today! You could see he was pissed at the Ump!
  3. Please win at least this one lousy game of the Home-Series! Watching LaRoche at bat gives you ulcers...
  4. Time for Sale to break out of the slump. I hope really hope we don't get swept again in this series and can build up some confidence for the weekend against the cubs. since it's already 0.45 a.m. in europe i better get to bed, avoid the score all day long tomorrow, hurry home after work and watch the re-run. Go Sox!
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 9, 2015 -> 11:32 PM) Any real emotion for this team went out the window for me when McEwing sent Alexei home last week. That was the nail in the coffin. When Soto was tagged between 2nd and 3rd while attempting to steal with Abreu at bat. That was quite a kick in the nuts/guts!
  6. Man, what a heartbreaker this series was...
  7. well done by avi! didn't expect him to hold back the swings
  8. nice work by robertson
  9. QUOTE (Dunt @ Aug 5, 2015 -> 11:03 PM) Wait until this weekend
  10. I'm starting to drink... go sox!
  11. while i agree waving alexei through was a boneheaded move, we don't know if flowers could've batted alexei and /or leury in. tough luck. getiing nothing out of eaton and melky didn't help the cause either- hope sale and the boys can kick off another streak tonight. can't expect much out of the upcoming games against the royals and the angels. go sox!
