Latos needs an easy couple innings to make it to the 7th today. Already at 80 pitches through 4.

Rule of thumb in baseball is you give a team 50 games to see what you really have. I'm somewhat concerned with the lack of hitting but were only 18 games in. If this is still going on come the first of June then we can panic.

5 of the Sox starting 9 have a BA below .200 and a 6th barely over .200.

Big win for the Sox. These are games they lose the last few years. They are starting to battle every at bat and every game. This team needed a good start.

Sox are going to be sorry they didn't cash in on their earlier chances to put this game away. Seen this movie way too many times with the Twins.
