That is awfully cool. My favorite autograph was given to me by my then girlfriend (now wife) when she was working for some attorneys downtown. She said they had a visitor to the firm that day who was an extremely nice man and she pulled out an autographed picture signed to me from Minnie Minoso.....I almost got down on one knee right then and there.

He's only 19. Outstanding. Time to break out my Cannonballers cap again.

Love to hear good news from the minors with how the big club has been looking. I remember how fast Robert moved through the system. Would be great to get Yolbert up to Chicago later this year.

I'm still very happy that Kimbrel was jettisoned and nothing will change my mind about that. Nick Swisher performed much better when he left here but I didn't give a rat's ass about that......if you forget that time he hit a walk off against us.....that sucked.

Honestly, I would keep him where he is for now, continuing to build up confidence. He is a 30 year old rookie, so I am not sure you should put him in a higher leverage position. That being said, he is one of the few bright spots in this early season, along with Cease, Kopech and Vaughn.

Well you saved yourself some heartache. I only followed along on the gamethread myself while working. It sounded like it was a tough one to stomach watching. I didn't see it to be honest. Just following on the game thread but he's been struggling blocking balls too lately which is discouraging after how he looked at the beginning of the season. The win yesterday I guess has kept me off the ledge but losing 2 out of 3 to the Royals at home might be the worst so far....with the Angels coming in....Yikes.

Just wondering since our current defense first Catcher is struggling defensively.
