Well this is shitty news to wake up to.

The Cards scored 15 runs in the 8th....sounds like one of our opponent's 8th innings from last season.

The rumor is that Roger Bossard was heard yelling out a few times last year when it was after 10:00 pm....."GET OFF MY LAWN!!"....they are trying to avoid such altercations this season.

I really think it mostly came down to what they did with Kimbrel in the offseason. I did not like the trade when it happened, but I understand the process over performance argument...Kimbrel was a valued commodity at the trade deadline even if I did not like him or what we gave up. But when Hahn picked up the option after KImbrel's disasterous turn here last year and then failed to trade him for whatever reason...now Kimbrel and his performance on the south side is all on Hahn. Risking him to turn it around when clearly they are using him in the same role as last year is just baffling to me. Not to mention that the Kimbrel $$ could have been used elsewhere. I know I have posted this same type of thing multiple times, but this really is one of the oddest baseball decisions I have ever seen the White Sox do.

I loved growing up as a Sox fan with Harry and Jimmy Piersall on channel 44. There was nothing like those 2 together and never will be again. It makes me quite sad that all most people remember is the Harry from the the north side.

I remember posting best of luck to Wheeler dodging batteries in Philadelphia....some guy here ripped into me informing me how awful Sox fans were....of course bringing up the white trash Ligue idiots as his example.

I love the selection I can find in my fridge and since most of my Sox viewing will be from my couch, I guess it doesn't matter too much.

I'd have to say I'm about as excited as when we got Ryan Goins....and I wasn't that excited then.

If you're not giving 110% in Spring Training, how can I trust you to give 120% in the regular season, and 135% in the post season??
