  1. It's truly a crime that this organization let Pants Rowland go.
  2. All I am saying is if there is a market for Kimbrel, why the hell wouldn't there be a market for Hendriks who at this time is much better. To be clear, I am not suggesting they should do it...just wondering if that is an option the front office would consider.
  3. Is it time to debate the merits of accepting Kimbrel's option and putting the more valuable piece, Hendriks, on the market?

I'm fine with him being the fall guy.

From what many of us felt was the strength of this team no so long ago. Very frustrating.

WTF was that all about anyway. Shouldn't someone's head roll in the offseason over that awful positioning all series long?

I wonder what he'll say about Kimbrel when he's gone...via trade or decline of the option.
  8. Sure it is...look at the last couple of pages.
  9. Ok, so a few more weeks of speculation before we know. Thanks, Balta.
  10. What is the timeline as far as accepting/rejecting options and when free agency starts?
  11. I can see the argument of keeping him and flipping him but with what he has done and his salary, isn't he more of a I'll take him off your hands kind of deal instead of one that will net you much of a return? Would it be a bad contract for bad contract kind of a deal? If they do accept the offer, I sure hope some here are correct that teams will look past a bad couple of months but I don't see how the Sox don't have to eat some of that $$.
  12. Watch it now, you might make me excited about the free agent season.
  13. Just go to the ballpark on your ticket date and feel the serenity of the moment....do some yoga....it would do so much more for your soul than any refund you might get.
  14. But he's got that experience that is invaluable, Ray.
  15. Considering that he was brought in for his veteran playoff experience...that sucks. But I agree with you that is most likely what we get...more of this year's performance.
  16. Sheets is not better than Abreu at 1B....not sure about Vaughn but I believe some think he is not tall enough.
  17. Dallas has very little trade value...just gotta hope he is a serviceable 5th starter.
  18. I would guess they will have to pay some of his contract to get something worth getting back in a trade. I'm interested to see what they do. Could I guess see what they would get back at the trade deadline next season but boy that would be risky.
  19. Do you think they should accept or decline his option?
  20. While he quietly mumbles...."Process over Performance"
  21. I bet Rick Hahn is counting the days until SoxFest.......is over.
  22. Do you remember when people said we were wrong about criticizing that move after he went on a little hot streak early in the season? Then nosedive and release.
  23. Tony LaRussa White Sox playoff record pre HOF 1-3 blah blah blah blah blah Tony LaRussa White Sox playoff record post HOF 1-3
  24. You and your facts.....I'm trying to spend some of Jerry's $$ and all you've got are facts...want to throw in some statistics while you're at it??
