This team is no where near being competitive so I do not want any free agents to be brought in on the offensive side that will take away from the young guys that need to play to see what we have. But the pitching? Damn, they need a lot of help.

I was starting to feel some excitement for the next Spring Training and then they go back in the toilet.

I was looking at the wild card standings and noticed that the Rockies are 1-9 in their last 10 games but they have 41 wins for the year which is how many games our Sox won last season. I know that it goes without saying but good lord, that was an awful 2024 squad and they had Crochet. This year's team should win about 20 more games and still lose 100. Ugghhhh.

I forget how it went down...Romy always seemed pretty good here but had some injuries if I recall correctly. Did our Sox move on from him because of the injuries or did Getzy choose to just go with veterans over guys like Romy?

They would need to go 6-5 to avoid 100 losses. Once again they play well for a bit to get me somewhat excited for next season and then they crater again.

I love great character actors who elevate small roles and Graham Greene definitely did that in his career.
