Hector has gained a lot of attention from major US publications for his reports. He has had many opportunities to abandon his first report. He has even had American journalists and reporters dispute him yet he has maintained his stance. If he’s wrong it can really hurt his credibility in the US in my opinion.

If you are trying to gain fame and notereity as an insider, then why choose the least likely scenario or all? The White Sox signing both? Just seems stupid.

I have endlessly searched “Manny Machado” and “Bryce Harper” on Twitter. You rarely see people “breaking” signings for any other team. All these fake insiders (hopefully some are real) all “break” Manny to Chicago or both to Chicago. It’s so odd.

If false, I wonder why that guy would choose the White Sox fan base to troll like this.

That makes a lot of sense. All of Chicago media and anyone who has broken Sox news in the past were reporting 7/175 when Lozano came out and condemned it. That was pointed at the Sox.

It really feels like the Sox had this things wrapped up in their minds and then Padres came to spoil the party.

I really like Hector but this is the least believeable thing to me. I don’t believe the Phillies would have the lowest offer. Lower than the Yankees

Seeing a lot of these types of comments about the Phillies presser today. Maybe they are out on Machado.

Of all the theories I have heard, this is close to the least likely.

I really have a feeling this ends next week. I don’t think it will drag until March. Either a team will match or Manny will settle. These reports about waiting til March, being unhappy and the Padres stuff seem like he’s trying to squeeze money out of someone in a last ditch effort.
