It's been 15 years. That's 5,475 days without counting leap years. TIME TO FIX THE FUCKIN CAR. Pardon my language.

I'll probably watch the first 3 innings. That will tell me what kind of mindset this team is in today. I'm done watching 9 inning games where they get 2-5 hits and 0-2 runs with their SP imploding in the first 3 innings. A lot of people stuck with the rebuild, and if it doesn't even get off the ground, people are going to start leaving in droves. I know this is an anomaly of a season, and it was probably going to be another development year anyway, but there are just way too many signs of incompetency, unpreparedness. and lackadaisicalness. You cannot have that and win at the same time.

Sox vs St Louis Covids Game 1 8/15 thread, noon start

So Grandal...who in 53 atbats has an average of .245, 0 homeruns, 9 RBI and an ops of.656...is hitting 3rd. And Mazara is playing again over Engel. I am convinced Renteria doesn't know how to win games. I was a huge optimist of Renteria once we actually got good players...but not anymore. I now see why the Cubs let him go after they were ready to compete. -

They won't fire Renteria. This same brass offered Ventura a new contract the season his contract was up, after it was obvious to everyone that he was a horrible manager. He even knew it, which is why he rejected it and isn't managing anywhere else. -

9 swing and misses in 98 pitches...not fooling many folks out there. -

We need players that care about winning more than changing the game so much that it's put on the damn shirts. The game is fun when you WIN. -

Giolito has over 80 pitches in 4 innings of work. Wainright has under 60 in 4 innings. Sox have 1 hit, and an error. Cardinals have 5 runs. That basically tells me the story of the game. Incompetence and unpreparedness.
