  1. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 02:39 PM) Sands > Avi This
  2. Wooohhh Saladino ripped that ball. That was his pitch he owned that one
  3. Sale a lot of pitches in the first inning. Lots of foul balls by the Angels hitters. He's going to have to start attacking the plate rather than working around it if that count keeps climbing.
  4. Nice that Avi isn't in the lineup. Think Ventura is sitting him for not hitting or is he just giving him rest?
  5. QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 11:01 PM) Avi even sucks in MLB The Show 16. I had a ball hit off of his head in right field the other day. I couldn't help but laugh. The game really IS realistic. I actually went 4-5 with Avi in the show today lol. 2 doubles and 2 singles, and I hit a homer with him yesterday haha
  6. Nate Jones is one of my favorite players on this team. Love his attitude, his resilience, and his skill. He hasn't changed a bit results wise since before he got injured. That is awesome.
  7. QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 10:54 PM) What is even funnier is that he is a DH tonight. Usually, the DH is a benefit for a team in the AL. For us...well...it has been horrible for quite awhile. Yeah I'd rather let our pitchers hit right now than have Avi up there. If he can't hit what is he doing on this team? Sure ain't for fielding
  8. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 10:49 PM) Holy s*** 5 runs in a game? Yeah feels like 15 lol
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 10:43 PM) He has looked a lot better tonight, not chasing pitchese Yeah I can tell from this at-bat. I just turned the game on. That was a productive one.
  10. Abreu working the count here. He's seeing the ball well.
  11. The way Abreu is swinging the bat...I would rather see a "get him over get him in" strategy
  12. Nice woodwork J-Roll...that hesitation though in baserunning almost cost him. Good thing that throw wasn't accurate.
  13. Seriously...did they not learn from Steve Bartman? Seriously...I hope all those guys are ashamed of themselves for trying to catch it. Melky should have held onto it though
  14. Seems like the Sox are doing a better job communicating in the field this year with pop flies and what not. There have been some really dumb defensive miscues, but for the most part I would say it's been pretty solid compared to last year. I would really like to see them play small ball. More bunting and slapping the ball the other way. More taking pitches. They are just trying to do too much. They are overthinking it up there at the plate.
  15. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 05:47 PM) No real changes in the lineup except Garcia is moved to 8th and Jackson to 7th I like Jackson hitting higher in the lineup. I think it gives us better leverage and a better shot at scoring some runs...that is if Abreu/Frazier/Cabrera/Lawrie can get on based
  16. Sox win tonight 10-4; 15 hits and 4 homeruns. I'M CALLING IT!!!
  17. Need a good starting pitching performance to give that bullpen a rest
  18. Okay best hitter in this lineup right now...I wanna see a hit n run
  19. That pitch to Jose was close. I think it was a ball, but regardless you gotta protect with 2 strikes.
  20. All right Navarro is due. Time to raise that .056 average...
  21. Dang wish they would've kept Moore in. They were just starting to figure him out
