  1. Right fricken there what are they waiting for
  2. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 01:52 PM) Looked like a tie Yeah...looks like a tie on replay.
  3. Ohhh idk looked like he was out to me! I'll take it
  4. This is embarassing
  5. At least Navarro made him throw a few pitches
  6. Ouch. Now no dumb baserunning mistakes.
  7. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 01:45 PM) Can Avi take a first pitch ever? I don't see much difference from last year. He needs to stop trying to kill the pitch and just try to make some contact.
  8. Hawk: "First time I saw Quintana yell at a pitcher." It was pretty obvious that pitch was directly over the outside 3rd of the plate.
  9. Just an idea...what about hitting Melk 3rd and Lawrie 4th, Abreu 5th and Frazier 6th. Putting those warmer hitters up in the lineup a bit.
  10. I swear every time I see Frazier up there he gets in an 0-2 count. He just isn't seeing the ball.
  11. Let's get this series win and head back home 9-3! A 5-1 roadtrip aint too shabby (8-2 overall on the road if they win today).
  12. All right Jackson zone him in reel him in a light him up right here.
  13. Dang Lawrie. Where did that ball even land
  14. Why are they taking Ramirez out after only 66 pitches
  15. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 07:18 PM) Realistically, it's the bat they need. A replacement for Danks would be nice, but he's our 5th starter. I wonder how Danks feels about Rodon, a guy in his early twenties, pitching before him in the rotation.
  16. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 07:14 PM) Who's the next man up? Is Fulmer gonna be ready this season? Well he currently has an ERA over 10 in 7 innings pitched (over 2 games), so I would say he's gonna need another season or two in the minors before he is in the rotation.
  17. Let's take advantage of this break now
  18. Offense is going to need to come alive today if the Sox are going to win. IMO, this will either be a lopsided contest or a close 6-5 or 5-4 contest. I don't think this will be a low-scoring game for both teams.
  19. It's honestly painful watching Danks pitch. I kind of feel bad for him
  20. QUOTE (VAfan @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 06:31 PM) As much as everyone wants to wail on Avisail, I think you have to take his slow start in context of how other players on the team are hitting. Garcia's OPS of .530 is actually AHEAD of Brett Lawrie .516 and Jimmy Rollins .505, and part time guys Navarro and Shuck, and he's not far behind Alex Avila. Only 2 hitters are excelling for the Sox -- Eaton and Abreu. EVERYONE ELSE is below where we would hope they will be on the season. Yeah...the main reason we have been winning these games is because of our pitching, and these teams aren't very good (MIN, OAK). I'm expecting a sweep today, if not I'll take the series win. I'm expecting a series win versus Tampa, and we will see how they fair when the Angels come to town after the TB series.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 04:24 PM) Can Hawk never come back? This is such a better broadcast. I would guess next year he probably won't be back if he is only doing road games this year. The way Benetti is broadcasting...I think they are pretty confident they found his replacement.
  22. QUOTE (harkness @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 04:22 PM) Cleveland announcer called that one... How so?
  23. THERE YOU GO MELK MAN!! GET SOME!!
  24. Good job by Jose not touching the 2nd baseman on that grounder
