I actually normally would agree with you...but I think the signs here are just too glaring. I hope I'm wrong and you're right. But look, Fry is warming in the pen already. Not even out of the 3rd yet. This is the 3rd game we've had a bullpen pitcher warming before the 4th inning...the other 2 games was in the 1st! Our bullpen is going to get taxed early if this keeps happening. And we have 2 games today. Better hope Rodon can go 6 or 7. Edit: Cease is done and Cleveland's about to blow this thing wide open.

If you've been watching the games...it's not like we've been losing close 1,2, or 3 run games. The games they've lost they have been destroyed and the starters have looked abysmal.

We are last in the league with a team ERA of...9! The next closest team is the Blue Jays at 7.36...over a run and a half less. Ironically Cleveland is first at 1.29 I would not be surprised if they sweep the Sox.

All of a sudden, Kopech opting not to play is starting to seem like a bigger deal than most thought.

I really, really REALLY hope this is their way of weeding out the ones who will not be on this team's competitive roster. The Sox need to transition their mentality from giving these guys hundreds of chances to prove themselves to, a few times, and if they crap the bed multiple times, their gone. Can't keep giving players like ReyLo, Herrera and Delmonico 3 months of appearances in a regular season to prove themselves. Mindset needs to change.

Eloy, yes. Lopez, nah. I think Dunning could be a serviceable replacement.
