  1. At least they capitalized on Seattle's mistakes. Good to see the team hitting. Crowd was into it the whole game.
  2. Our bullpen coming in next inning makes me nervous.
  3. So what if Engel actually hits this year. I mean, there's no real expectations, but just what if?
  4. Love the double on the rolling curve, dont really like the floss celebration lol
  5. I swear if we have one more season ending injury to one of our core future pieces I'm gonna lose it
  6. Engel with the rare double. Nice start to the 2nd.
  7. Mariners are 7-1. Kikuchi starting for them, Lopez for us. I am cautiously optimistic about this one, but hopefully this will be a good showing for the fans. Also, weird lineup today. Leury, Anderson, Abreu, Castillo, Moncada, Eloy, Yonder, Rondon, Engel is the starting lineup. 1:10 central start time. Go Sox!
  8. Men-dink with a 3 run bomb. Charlotte lots of runs being scored. EDIT: Collins hits a solo and they go back to back
  9. Seems like they have short leashes for player performance this year. Who gets the boot for Santana then? Ruiz? Banuelos? Frare?
  10. #WhiteSox starters so far: 29.0 IP, 2.79 ERA, 28 H, 8 BB, 29 K, 0 HR. Only 5 games I know, but I Love everything about this line. Definitely encouraging considering the rotation was supposed to be one of the weaker areas on the team
  11. Like I said last time he pitched, it's time to end the Nate Jones experiment. The injuries have just ruined him.
  12. Did anyone ever ask Hahn about Eloy needing to work on his defense in the minors after his contract signing and being on the opening day roster? Just curious, and wondering how he danced around the question if asked it.
  13. I don't think anyone is getting rushed in this rebuild.
  14. He ambushed that fastball. I love the sequence of how that at bat unfolded. He fouled off the first two sliders down the middle, then destroyed the high fastball.
  15. Leury 4-5 haters can sit down. This is why he is the leadoff man. Now only if he can stay tf healthy.
  16. Yeah by the way Abreu was talking and his mannerisms it looked like he was speaking Spanish...I don't think I have ever heard him speak English before.
  17. Saw Abreu and Rodon talking it up, I know Carlos is hispanic but he has no accent...does he know spanish?
  18. Idk, Cease will be up this year if he stays healthy and pitches as expected. Not sure what you mean by "ready." How many more years of control do we have for Rodon? I know he is a Boras client, but this isn't to say he doesn't sign an extension with us. It might be in his best interest to do so with his injury history.
  19. If dude can stay healthy, I truly believe he will become the ace of this staff. Imagine him, Kopech, Cease, Lopez and a reinvented Giolito if the other day with him was any indication of anything. I'll take that.
  20. This is my thought process. He's having a slow start. Doesn't merit a demotion. If he doesn't hit, fine. He's hitting 9th as he should be. BUT, he HAS to clean up his defense. That is the primary reason he is here, and with all the other bad defenders on this team, he needs to contribute at least that.
