If he just threw that curve all day and nothing else no one would score on him. At least no one on our team.

April 8 - Rodon v. Snell 1:10 CT (mlbTV free game of day)
I can never understand how someone who is paid millions of dollars to pitch a ball, cant throw it to a base. Is it really that difficut to do?

Maybe he's hurt again. Methinks they need to load up on starting pitching in the draft this year.

April 8 - Rodon v. Snell 1:10 CT (mlbTV free game of day)
The phrase its time to shit or get off the pot should be used against him all year.

Im so tired of these pitchers pitching from behind in the count. Get ahead and stay ahead. Make them beat you from down 1-2 or 0-2. Too many full counts, just like yesterday.

And a seeing eye bloop single after a walk loads the bases with Avi up. Oh Lord.

4/7- Sox vs Mariners, 1:10, WGN
If Palka continues his non existent hitting, and Cordell hits in AAA, I bet they are swapped during the season. My money is on seeing Cordell at some point before the september call-ups either due to poor performance from Palka or he or Leury gets injured.

On a good note, TA7 is en fuego right now.

4/7- Sox vs Mariners, 1:10, WGN
This is true, BUT for any team when you are constantly allowing them to see 7 to 8 pitches per at bat you are going to get clobbered. At least they arent walking much, but this just shows me the Sox pitchers don't have major league stuff to get hitters out.

4/7- Sox vs Mariners, 1:10, WGN
And theres another 8 pitch at bat full count for EE.

4/7- Sox vs Mariners, 1:10, WGN
Constant full counts by our pitchers. Constant. At bats taking for ever.
-
4/7- Sox vs Mariners, 1:10, WGN
Every one of these at bats lasting at least 5 pitches. That inning took forEVER. Seattle just has a great hitting team. The arms of our pitchers are going to fall off if our starters can't even pitch 5 innings.

Same shit different year
-
4/7- Sox vs Mariners, 1:10, WGN
How annoying. Keep starting off 1-0 and 2-0 ending with full counts and then soft singles.

Anderson's Opposite Field Hitting
Say what you want about the babip, Going the opposite way is what made Avi so good a couple years ago, then he reverted after he got injured and kept trying to pull everything again. So yes, being a hitter than can hit to all fields is advantageous, and IMO makes you more valuable because as a hitter you can be used in many different ways in different situations. Tim also has speed and power which just adds to it.

Sox and Mariners Game #2
I remember I always loved it when McCann came up to bat for Detroit, because he never hit. Really my least liked aquisition of the offseason. I hope he gets replaced in the next couple months by Collins or Sevala.
