  1. Well when Jay comes back, you will probably get your wish.
  2. I wanted to see Palka bunt it it to 3rd
  3. There ya go Eloy, 2-2 for him
  4. Yes, not worried about catching up to 4 runs, am worried about the Mariners scoring more.
  5. 83 pitches and counting in the 4th...hope Banuelos feels good today.
  6. But they sure can hit the baseball.
  7. That's what you're going to get with Leury in center instead of Engel. Sacrificing defense for the hits. Yeah, Lucas not looking sharp. Sigh...I really want him to be able to put it together.
  8. Unfortunately this is starting to look like the Sox won't score any runs until they get into the bullpen. Hope im wrong.
  9. Yolmer making up for his errors to start the season
  10. Im sure the great showing yesterday helped. Also if it is anything like it is over here across the pond, this is the most beautiful day of the year so far. And its saturday.
  11. Yeah, sorry, I'm on eastern time and forgot to do the 1 hour difference.
  12. 1:10 Central Start Leake vs Giolito This will be a good test for Gio, as he is not pitching against a weak offense this time like he was against KC. Will see how he fares. Looks like some of our hitters have had pretty good success against Leake: Abreu 3 for 3 with a homer Yonder 3 for 8 with a homer Anderson 2 for 4 Castillo 3 for 10, Moncada 3 for 3 with a homer And Yolmer is 2 for 4 against him. Go Sox!!!
  13. Same here. I was ten when I discovered being a baseball fan, except that was in 2004. Half my family were cubs fans, half were Sox. Very glad I chose the south side. Of course, them winning it all the next year hooked me for life, so yes, I agree that the next few years will be very crucial for the future of this baseball team. I also appreciate the different generations of fans on here. I enjoy listening to stories from baseball back in the day before I was born, one of the many reasons I loved listening to Hawk growing up.
  14. At least they capitalized on Seattle's mistakes. Good to see the team hitting. Crowd was into it the whole game.
  15. Our bullpen coming in next inning makes me nervous.
  16. So what if Engel actually hits this year. I mean, there's no real expectations, but just what if?
  17. Love the double on the rolling curve, dont really like the floss celebration lol
  18. I swear if we have one more season ending injury to one of our core future pieces I'm gonna lose it
  19. Engel with the rare double. Nice start to the 2nd.
  20. Mariners are 7-1. Kikuchi starting for them, Lopez for us. I am cautiously optimistic about this one, but hopefully this will be a good showing for the fans. Also, weird lineup today. Leury, Anderson, Abreu, Castillo, Moncada, Eloy, Yonder, Rondon, Engel is the starting lineup. 1:10 central start time. Go Sox!
  21. Men-dink with a 3 run bomb. Charlotte lots of runs being scored. EDIT: Collins hits a solo and they go back to back
  22. Seems like they have short leashes for player performance this year. Who gets the boot for Santana then? Ruiz? Banuelos? Frare?
  23. #WhiteSox starters so far: 29.0 IP, 2.79 ERA, 28 H, 8 BB, 29 K, 0 HR. Only 5 games I know, but I Love everything about this line. Definitely encouraging considering the rotation was supposed to be one of the weaker areas on the team
  24. I really hope you're right
