  1. What is this like the 3rd straight start of at least 25 pitches in the first inning?
  2. And another full count. Same shit different starter. Throwing too many pitches, getting behind, nothing is deceptive.
  3. I cant remember the last time one of our pitchers had an 0-2 count.
  4. You keep starting batters off 1-0, 2-0, that's what happens. These pitchers constantly behind in the count, hitters gonna be all over them. I dont care at this point if every at bat starts off with fastball down the middle. Just get ahead FFS.
  5. Who the hell is that chick in the dugout
  6. Wow some people actually sitting in those wet ass seats
  7. I don't think Madrigal will be up until 2021 and I think Robert starts 2020 in AAA but finds his way to the majors at some point during the season. I think we get one more half-year of the Leury/Engel combo in cf and Yolmer at 2B for another full year. Sorry to be the debbie downer, but barring injuries this seens to be the most realistic scenario to me
  8. Ahhh I love that our prospects are doing well to start the year off. Helps to stomach this current awful "MLB" team a little better. Hoping Cease is up in July or August.
  9. Who is the chick in the dugout
  10. Damnnnn. Baseball was destroyed
  11. Idc what his health is like, make Santana throw 95 pitches at least. We do not need to put the strain on our pen and destroy those arms due to the incompetence of our starters.
  12. Annnnd there. It. Is.
  13. Might as well just start these counts off 2-0 for Tampa hitters and save Santana some pitches
  14. Man Timmy player of the month so far. Great play.
  15. Nice recovery by Timmy there.
  16. Nope, more of the same. Starting at bats off 2-0, throwing lots of pitches. Teams are going to destroy this pitching staff if they can't get ahead.
  17. I guess maybe I'm not understanding something...can you not burn more than one option in a season? I thought each time you were called up and then sent down to the minors you lose an option.
  18. Let's see if Santana can pitch more than 5 innings today. Hopefully he fares better than the rest of our rotation...the last starts of Giolito, Lopez, Rodon and Nova have been abysmal.
  19. Yeah, and I just read an article on NBC Sports Chicago that Renteria said as much, that the plan was for him to be extra insurance for Monday. So I guess it's a positive for Carson that they just basically burned one of his options.
  20. Not advocating for the roster management here, but I'm sure they probably told Carson that he would only be up for a day and then he would be sent back down for Santana. He made the most of the short opportunity that he had. Probably will get him another look when the next pitcher injury happens.
  21. I bet he's in AAA by year's end and makes his MLB debut next year if he continues this. Very likely possibility the MLB team could look very different in 2020 with Kopech, Cease and Robert on the the team by August or September. Next year should be tons more fun and include a lot more incentive to watch compared to this year.
  22. Yeah, I guess I mean more like in-game situations. It seem every time they start a rally, the opposing team always kills it. Like they crumble under pressure.
  23. If there was an award in MLB for getting fans' hopes up and then crushing them to smithereens, the Sox would win that award every single year.
