That's why you don't kill your tired pitcher out there. No wonder he was grabbing his shoulder.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 08:57 PM) eh, you're more than welcome to sort trough the old game threads! Most recent was Duke v Beltre when albers was available. It worked out for the Sox so nobody remembers. Good players make a good team and Duke bailed him out. Also playing Sands at 1B where he had 2 bad picks one of which almost cost us a game.

Miguel Gonzalez getting called up, Danks skipped
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 03:35 PM) Looked to me like whatever "bad luck" had had on BABIP it was neutralized by his HR/FB% luck. Could have easily given up 3 bombs instead of just long doubles. He was leaving a lot of balls up and the Jays were crushing them. That said, overall his stuff is better than Danks' if he can sit at 90-91mph on his heater, and he was doing that last night for the most part. He looks like a guy who would benefit from a cutter. His fastball is just too straight and doesn't have enough velocity to get it by hitters when he needs to throw a strike

Miguel Gonzalez getting called up, Danks skipped
I'm not a Gonzalez fan or a Danks fan but I wonder if some of the people saying Gonzalez got unlucky actually watched the whole game.

Miguel Gonzalez getting called up, Danks skipped
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 11:03 PM) Gonzalez basically sucked, but he actually threw some good pitches and got some key outs - could have been worse. I'd give him another chance It seemed like every one of their hits was a rocket off the bat. Not to mention barely escaped giving up 2-3 more HR. If they weren't all hard hit I'd feel better about giving him another shot but I wasn't too impressed even considering the opponent.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 09:50 PM) I'm not ready to write off Gonzalez. Will be interesting in July if we can truly stack our team with a fifth starter He could've easily given up 3-4 HR in this one.

Miguel Gonzalez getting called up, Danks skipped
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 08:43 PM) He technically pitched good enough to for us to win. That's usually the excuse we trot out for Danks right? He didn't pitch good enough to win. He pitched in line with what our #5 starter has been giving us, which is garbage.

So let's talk about the real change this year...
QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 08:35 PM) Eaton is the best defensive OF in baseball. Believe it. What a difference having two CF's in the outfield compared to previous seasons.

Wow that was a great slide by Abreu. Kind of questionable to tag there but it worked out.
