  1. Any word on how badly Robinson was injured?
  2. The more the Bears change the more the Bears stay the same.
  3. Not as long as Hahn is the GM and Renteria is the Manager.
  4. Mark Buehrle was able to get away with only a very few strikeouts per game because he had much better fielders to work with and he was a very good fielder to begin with. The Sox need to prioritize defense over offense and to get good defensive pitchers.
  5. Don't see a thread on this important game that could determine just who wins the NL Central Division, so here goes...............
  6. Probably a lot of the SoxTalk regulars are at the game.

So you'd want Davidson sent down to AAA first before having him as a regular reliever?
  8. Insp replied to Insp's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Guess other folks aren't as impressed by Davidson's pitching as I was.
  9. Insp posted a topic in Pale Hose Talk
Palka should be the full-time DH and Davidson should be in the bullpen unless one of our power hitters gets injured in which case he could substitute.
  10. Cordell finally went for a base hit instead of a home run. Perhaps there is some hope for him after all.
  11. Given the lopsided score, this would seem to be an ideal game to put Davidson on the pitcher's mound to see what he can do.
  12. Leave it to Engel to blow things by wildly swinging at the ball.

    Who's Longo?
  14. Cordell's batting average has dropped to .048. He has failed to alter his approach and instead just swings wildly at every pitch. The Sox cannot afford to keep trotting him out. Unless their reason for doing so is to make sure that they can lose as many games as they can to boost their chances fo getting as high a draft pick as they can.
  15. Cordell is so pathetic it's not even funny.
  16. All Cordell ever does is swing for the fences. What this team needs is not more power hitting, but rather more payers who can get on base.
  17. Why do so many Sox players swing on pitches when they have 3 balls and an excellent chance of getting a walk?
  18. What was this reference and why is it so important?
  19. What is so significant about this Wire thingy?
  20. Notice how Renteria keeps Giolito in the game so he can ensure that the team loses and boost the Sox's draft position?
  21. Juan Minaya does it again. Now we're within range of losing it all despite an insurance run from Avi.
  22. Take it that most of you are pessimistic about the Blackhawks this season?
