Free at last!!!!

A Row finally get his shot.

Hitting second and playing center field today

Too bad Miles and Burke aren't in there, too.

Yeah, they should give Miles some more time after that oppo field drive in the Twink Dome. I think that hit the very top of the fence. If it had gone out, we would have had a good shot at winning.... Oh well.

Has Burke even played since being recalled?

I guess Everett was making everyone else lok bad at the plate the last few games (yesterday notwithstanding) and so they figured they'd better get him out of the lineup.

Burke might have played an inning. Don't remember him getting an AB.

What would it hurt?

Miles, too.

Hell, throw Adkins out there and see what he does.

Even Willie Harris deserves a few at bats.

Does Manuel really think he can save his job by finishing second, not third?

Last sunday I could have cared less about football, all I cared about was the sox. Wow how things can change in a week.

you forgot that Miles violated another rule:

He got a double off a pitcher he had never seen before.

That's a $500 fine.

Garland off to a strong start.

Had a walk an inning in the Metrodome, too.

A walk

a dropped throw

a stolen base

it might be time to channel surf

I'll go out on a limb and predict Jerry Manuel's crew finishes this season in THIRD PLACE

which would be a fitting farewell for Jerry Ball.

These guys are playing like a completely defeated team.

Finally a K.

Another run and out comes Coop. The end of this season is like a bad dream.

That's it.,

can't watch any more of this

maybe tomorrow

out

:puke What a joke.

4 zip now. If I was just getting into the stadium I think I would turn around and walk aout again. Fan Appreciation Day my arse.

I just hope that when next year rolls around, all the sourness of this september is gone.

Four runs against us might as well be 40 right now. Looks like a 3rd place finish in the worst division in baseball for the team everone thought could go so deep in the playoffs. We are a delusional lot as Sox fans, folks.

i over slept today... maury and killa are prolly gonna be pissed i didnt make the game but from the looks of things im prolly better off not going..... :o ......oh well theres always the race on tv now so i guess i watch that ... my guy is 7th right now.. started out at 17th.. so hopefully he will get a win today or at least finish top 5 and get points...i know the sox surely arent...........what a great way to appreciate your fans by teasing them the last half of the season.. raising their hopes for a good finish to only get them 3rd.. if thats the best this team can do its not worth the efforts of the fans to show and cheer for them..........

Whoopie, only down by 3 now.

what is this strange game you call "baseball"?

Don't ask this team what baseball is, because they obviously have no clue about the matter.

Ask them about homerun and they can give you a 3.4 million word essay.

True. I read in Downy's column todaythat the Sox have a lower teambatting average than the Devil rays, and have fewer hits than everyone but the Tigers and the A's. Homeruns though we got figured out. Sometimes I wish I followed a NL team instead of these chumps.

9-2 them in the top of the 7th... omfg thats over pathetic state now.. its downright sickening......... *need the shakin head back and forth in disbelief smiley here*

Adkins looks like he has some good stuff. Saw him hit mid 90s on his fastball.

But hes in a hell of a situation......9-2 KC, bases loaded no outs.

10-2 KC, they just want to keep adding it on.

and why not if your gonna go out may as well go with a huge bang huh........geez us.....pathetic........
