I must be

Hopefully Shields can get enough outs on balls in play to sneak his ERA into the 4s and we can convince some sucker to take him like we did

Abreu continues to make no adjustments

Abreu continues to make no adjustments

He used to be able to pull his hands in on those inside fastballs and drive them in the gaps or over the walls. That's part of what made him such a great hitter. No idea why he hasn't been able to do that this year. Still can't believe he only has 11 home runs in late July.

Heck of a play by Anderson

Bat speed gone

This is like the strangest experience watching Justin Morneau bat in the pinstripes.

Todd should do that more often!!

Story of the season. Runners in scoring position and the first batter pops out, setting up the double play or the other two just strike out or pop out. Here's to hoping I'm wrong though...

Sox accidentally get two runners on base; next two batters quickly correct the mistake by swinging at awful pitches.

The bobblehead is actually pretty cool

Dioner. Navarro. Can't. Catch.

Honestly, with the data available, to sign him is enough to make me question Rick Hahn on its own.

Sox have four hits in two innings and NO RUNS

I've noticed that a lot of the games in which they have lost recently, they have actually had more hits than their opponent but no runs to show for it. The Sox could have 8 hits and zero to two runs while the other team might have 4 or 5 hits and three to five runs.

What's with thIs umpire s strike zone? Two that had the plate don't get called and then a base hit

Missed the first one but the second was an awful receiving job by Navarro

Not sure anyone could have done worse signing free agents than Hahn did this offseason

Nice play there.

Are the Sox announcers blind or just homers

Stone called him out on the replay. Not sure what you're watching.
