Any reason the Yankees aren't in the Sale sweepstakes? I love their farm system.

Cause they know their prospect depth and talent is going to lead to lots of future success...

It's because our front office is too scared to risk their career on anything other than a sure thing. They keep their jobs through more mediocre seasons unless they trade fan favorite Sale and make poor prospect evaluations and get a bunch of busts back.

That seems to be the size of it.

They keep their jobs with mediocre seasons, why threaten them with a risky rebuild unless it involves "sure things".

Aggravating considering Hahn and co are a lot better at evaluating minor league talent than major league talent.

Based on Tim Anderson and Adam Eaton and this year's draft class?

I have said consistently that i don't think they will trade Sale. But in fairness, let's at least give them a week to see how determined they are to "rebuild".

What a classic Yankee signing

I'm not convinced Hahn is good at evaluating any talent. He's a master contract negotiator, which makes your players super valuable, but there is no evidence to suggest this FO can draft fielding talent.

That Tim Anderson kid looks pretty decent

At this rate, they'll have drafted a decent team in 80 years. I get what you're saying, but the White Sox positional drafting has been terrible for a long time.
