Former Sox still have something to play for.

Josh Fogg and Kip Wells can help keep the Cubs out of the playoffs. Fogg gets the start tomorrow vs. Clement. The Kipper pitches the biggest game in his carrer, since he left the sox, Sunday, taking on Kerry Wood in the final game of the regular season.

Go Get 'em boys!!! :fthecubs

Clement has been pushed back a day. Prior is starting against Fogg tomorrow.

Dusty got his finger on the panic button.

Its a shame to see Prior get overpitched here down the stretch....wonder if hes gonna go another 135 pitch outing...

No, but you get the admiration of all of us for your unselfish dedication to the board. For what it's worth. :D

Sorry, I have an over abundant supply of admiration, but no disposable cash. Such is life. *sigh*

Kip...for all of those 4 2/3, 5 hit, 4 walk outings I sat through...you owe us. All will be forgiven if you step up.

LOL ... Ain't that the truth.

Let's hope Kipper and Josh bring their best stuff against da Cubs. I gotta feeling da Cubs might choke in this series, but for that to happen, Wells and Fogg will hav to be on top of their games.

Aren't they both over .500? Fogg get shelled last Friday didn't he. KW should win GM of the year if they both pick up wins!

You make a good point. If these two are instrumental in keeping the Cubs out of the playoffs, I will forgive Todd Richie.

if they are responsible for keepin the scrubs out of the playoffs ill kiss ritchies feet and welcome him back with open arms...... :o :D ...ok i may not go that far and welcome him back, but.....it would be awesome for them to kick the scrubbies out of contention...... :headbang

The ex-Cub factor has been detrimental to the sCrUBS this week. Vizcaino had a PH 2-RBI single to help Houston defeat SF on Wednesday and Van Poppel got the win over his ex-teammates in Cincinnatti yesterday.

Now..... hopefully we get to see a taste of an ex-Sox factor.

GO PIRATES! GO ASTROS!

:bang What would the ex-Sox factor be? Finally waking up and starting to play after leaving the southside? :bang

I guess. Kind of like the ex-Cub factor did  .

I think some of the radio stations have already planned "playoff" parties at the bars around the urinal next Tuesday. I hope they choke and those turn out to be pity parties instead.

They way they are going, Moronotti is going to get whiplash from jumping on and off the bandwagon on a daily basis.

There are. I know of 2 or 3 non-sports talk related stations having Cub Playoff Parties around the Unfriendly Confined next week.

But printing the playoff tickets all the way back in April is kind of a Cub hallmark.

We should get a group together here and attend if it does become a Cubby Pity Party :headbang .

I hope they f***ing choke just so I can, to quote the great Lee..... "shove it up the ass of" all my asshole Cub fan friends.

Hey Michelle, leave your foot fetish out of the boards, k? :)
