Some good stuff in here. It is very good news to see Cordel is back and playing.

Funny, I just posted this link to another thread of yours. I think Cordel may be a sleeper.

Tell me why.

Late unknown pick in the 11th round of his draft class. He's done well over the course of his minor league career and is still a bit below par for his age. He came he with the label of being ready to take his development to the big show.

With out franchise so stacked - it's easy to forget about someone like Cordell but he has a shot to become something.

That said, I know nothing about his defensive chops.

Edit: there ya go, Mr. Demanding ?

Cordell does look interesting based on his size, arm, + speed and power potential but his Home/Away splits were just not good at all this past season. Hopefully he can get those splits closer to his '16 numbers.

No loud tool but lots of capability. Looks like he could be a solid 4th outfield type or, if he still can handle the infield to some degree, and interesting super utility type.

If Cordel can play CF, he probably does have a shot.
