I have a Chicago Then and Now book, but there is something about this video and the span of the city the aerial view provides that provides much more perspective. Feels so much more like you can "feel" the city.

Feels so much more like you can "feel" the city. Absolutely. I was amazed at how much open and greenspace there was all over the place. I did recognize a few buildings in what is now the financial district and south loop, plus some of the stuff around the U of C, but I loved the buildings in general.
October 30, 20178 yr Author At 1:20 there is a great shot of an old Boston Store building and the updated version still showing the ghost sign of "boston store" that I want to go out and find now.
November 6, 20178 yr QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 30, 2017 -> 01:59 PM) At 1:20 there is a great shot of an old Boston Store building and the updated version still showing the ghost sign of "boston store" that I want to go out and find now. I was thinking the same thing. One thing that I like about leaving Chicago is when I come back I do the touristy things that I was "too cool" to do when I live there.
