Nice write-up. Mind elaborating on what this line meant:

The team has already been active in that respect as they nearly came to terms on a pact with a reliever before medicals were flagged and the deal was called off.

The fact that we have zero members of the 2017 opening day bullpen on the 40 man roster today is mind blowing.

It would be if it were true.

Yeah, it's true to say what the article said - none of the OD 2017 bullpen will be available to open 2018.

Has there been an update? According to this, Jones is supposed to be ready for spring training.

It's weird, I could have sworn I read something about him being set for maybe rehab in April-May and not MLB until later, but now I can't find it. Maybe I was confusing him with Rodon or something. I could be wrong!

The White Sox haven't exactly been forthcoming with their injuries the past year or so, so who really knows. But at least this was a re-positioning and not a reconstruction, so you would think the recovery time will be a lot shorter.
