He made the flight that's the important thing. As noted, hope he pitches great this year for the Sox, couldn't care less what he does off the field if he's good and healthy on it. If he continues to struggle with health and the rumors about his off field habits continue then I'll speculate further. In this case my speculation was unwarranted.

There's all kinds of reasons that people are late for flights, some are good and some aren't. I don't think you have nearly enough info here to hold it against him. Didn't he pitch yesterday?
