Good! Keep him away from the Cubs. At this stage, I would love to see the Cubs outbid someone for Machado (even though it sounds like they are out of the running). Bleed their farm system for a rental player that doesn't really move the bar for them. They need pitching WAY worse than the additional utility they would get for Manny. Cubs don't have a prospect like Yusniel Diaz to dangle in a trade package, which pretty much takes them out of the running in my opinion.
