Again with this? Dude, find a new hobby. Find something that fills the hole in your life.

Let’s fill in the hole of understanding your thinking of the owner and his management team.

Scale of 1-10, 10 being nirvana, where do you rate Jerry Reinsdorf, Kenny Williams, and Rick Hahn, in terms of competence and effectiveness in their roles?

Ok, so your point is you’re content settling for the ineptitude and ineffectiveness of the owner and his front office.  Set the expectations low and you won’t be disappointed seems to be your White So

Or, and stay with me here this is deep, it isn't worth spending days, months, years, or decades about the same things happening over and over again. If you don't learn from something after 40 years of making you miserable,  baseball might not be the true culprit.

You have over 151,000 posts on a Sox message board and you don’t care if the team ever wins?

Your argument is that fans shouldn’t care that much about their favorite team losing.  Then wouldn’t that make us all just like the fans of the “lovable losers” of years ago who would pack Wrigley even when their team sucked because they didn’t care whether their team won or lost?

There is space between not caring, and being angry over things that happened 40 years ago.  When you have obsessed about the latter and want everyone to be as pissed off as you are,  that's when you have a problem.  Especially when you are trying to pin people down to some imaginary standard to prove that everyone else should be bitter about 1980.

I’m upset about this offseason, not 40 years ago.  Is that okay?
