Sox invite 27 to big league Spring Training

Featured Replies

Some pretty exciting names attached to the invite list this year.

Read about the news, which includes 15 fresh minor league contracts, HERE.

Dude spring training is going to be absolutely lit this year.  Look at all the young exciting players you're going to be able to see up close and personal:

Eloy, Yoan, Madrigal, Vaughn, Robert, Kopech, Cease, Rutherford, Basabe and so on.  Also see they invited Delmonica and Medeiros.  Be interesting to see if either of those guys has shown any improvement.  Be nice to keep building depth.

Time we heard from the OF crew.

Surprised to see Palka in the list. Thought he was out of the organization?

Also is Jake Burger going to be in Spring Training? Or is he STILL recovering?

If 1 or 2 of these guys found a way to make the final cut...it would be huge.

I was just about to ask this.

Is Jake Burger done? Last I heard he had another setback last November. I saw a video of him taking BP and he looked MASSIVE. All of that weight can't be good for rehabbing an Achilles and foot.
