Some people on my floor recognized who it was. They have friends in high school w/ him.

MY hero is Dan C. Marino

MY personell hero is my father

they were speculating on the radio (whoever supplied the national broadcast) that everyone would have his name by tomorrow - as many times as the tv showed him close up it won't take long til he is identified - in that sense I feel sorry for the dude

THEY can actully say his name, isnt that play like the Tony Torrascoo play in 96 in Yanks vs O's

good call!

yes it is!

of course who knows if Alou would have actually caught that ball - it is legend already -

I feel sorry for the guy with all the s*** he is about to take. Reinsdorf should use this as a great PR move for Sox fans and actually offer up Sox season tickets to the guy. You know on opening day, if he is there, he would get a standing ovation at Comiskey!

And in all honesty, it couldn't have happened to a finer player than Moises. That guy just gets under my skin almost as bad as Sosa!

:fthecubs :fthecubs

It's not over yet... I'm quietly hoping that the Cubs lose tomorrow....

I don't want to celebrate until the Cubs are dead....

alou easily catches that ball...i don't think there's any doubt whatsoever

Oh no doubt. It was headed right for his glove.

why do people react to this as if this is the reason the Cubs lost?

like fan interference has never happened in the game or like it was a given Alou would catch the ball, or it was a given Prior wouldn't continue to give up hits after that, or it was a given the Marlins hot bats wouldn't carry over to the ninth.

Did you see the fit he threw right after that happened? You would think that they lost the game right then.

That inning was almost too fun to watch. :D

Rob Neyer calls it right:

Yes, the goat's already been given his horns and he's stuck with them. But a fan didn't lose this game. The Chicago Cubs did.

EXACTLY right!

I ain't sayin' a f***in' WORD until the sCrUBS choke is complete.

I didn't see the game, and I was STUNNED to hear what happened!!!

NOW, if Wednesday is a good day, Thursday will be a great day!

As if the Sox knew anything about PR.

I'd either let him throw out the first pitch, or let him catch the first pitch sitting along the 3rd base line.

Wednesday is Christmas - just don't know for whom yet.

If the Cubs are able to rebound after this loss, they deserve the title of NL Champs.
