FS: Draft Profile-Cade Cavalli RHP Oklahoma

Featured Replies

Comparing Cavalii to Hansen is very lazy.  They went to the same school and that's where the comparison ends.  Cavalli is far more athletic than Hansen and has a much cleaner more repeatable delivery.  Cavalli also hasn't entirely focused on pitching because he's a pretty good hitter and still got better going into his draft year while Hansen shit the bed.  Cavilli has some of the best upside in the entire draft.

Though the Sox have a recent connection to Oklahoma’s program in the person of Alec Hansen, Cavalli is a different kind of pitcher than the 6’7″ right-hander.

So you are being critical because Hansen is a different kind of pitcher than Cavalli?  Like it says in the article exactly?

That aside, the fact that they haven’t been able to get Hansen back on track could play a role as well

No.  It can't and it won't.

Really like his delivery and follow through. Nice clean and straight towards the hitter.
