Can this option be turned on? For example, facebook allows you to like your own comments. We can't do that here though. Sometimes "likes" aren't given when they are deserved. Is this an option?

Are you sure it isn't possible? 

I don't understand what kind of attention starved person would need to like their own posts.  Or care that much.  Has social media really crippled people mentally where "likes" are that important?  Geesh.  I'm gonna go back to yelling at clouds now.
